Carnivore Diet Beef Bread

Andy will show you a very simple way to make carnivore diet-style beef bread. This recipe uses all animal-based products as well as ground beef. It tastes great and can be used to make sandwiches and toast. Or go ahead and add some butter and honey and you have a great little snack. (However, disregard if honey is not part of your carnivore diet protocol.)
  • 8 ounces of ground beef
  • 3 egg whites
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 ounces of butter

  1. Preheat oven to 370.
  2. Fully cook ground beef.
  3. Add and blend cooked ground beef, 5 eggs, and cream cheese to a strong blender.
  4. Blend until liquified.
  5. Add the batter to the mixing bowl and slowly add and whisk in egg whites.
  6. Add this batter to an oven-safe bread bowl.
  7. Be sure to add a layer of butter to help prevent the batter from sticking.
  8. Place in oven and bake for 40-50 minutes.
  9. Use a toothpick to test if the bread is fully cooked.

Warning: Raw animal products like egg yolks can cause infections.

Glazed pork and bacon burgers

Serves 4–6

4 rindless bacon rashers, finely chopped

3 tablespoons coconut oil or good-quality animal fat

1 onion, finely chopped

150 g mushrooms, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

2 teaspoons finely chopped thyme leaves

1 tablespoon finely chopped

flat-leaf parsley leaves

550 g pork mince

1 egg

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground

black pepper

150 ml Smoky Barbecue Sauce (see recipe XXX)

Salad to serve

Heat a large frying pan over medium–high heat. Add the bacon and sauté for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden. Transfer the bacon to a bowl and set aside.

Wipe the pan clean, then heat 1 tablespoon of the coconut oil or animal fat over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes until softened. Next, add the mushroom and garlic and cook for 3 minutes until softened. Transfer the onion and mushroom mixture to the bacon and allow to cool completely.

Add the thyme, parsley, pork mince, egg, salt and pepper to the cooled bacon mixture, then mix well to combine. Shape the mixture into ten patties.

Heat a large frying pan over medium–high heat. Add the remaining oil or fat and cook the patties in batches for 3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and allow to rest for 2 minutes. Whisk any juices in the pan into the smoky barbecue sauce.

Brush the smoky barbecue sauce over the patties to glaze, then serve.

Serve with salad.

100 ml maple syrup

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

100 ml tamari or coconut aminos

Liquid smoke is a water-soluble liquid that forms from condensed smoke particles when chips from a hardwood (such as hickory) are burned. You can

buy it from some supermarkets, delis, specialty food stores or online.

Breakfast Egg Taco

Serves: 4 soft chicken tortillas

  • 8-12 eggs
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • ½ pound diced bacon, sausage or other leftover meat
  • 4 ounces of your favorite cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Heat your pan to a medium heat.
  • Cook your meat of choice in the pan.
  • Add in the butter and mix in the eggs, salt and pepper.
  • Continue to cook the eggs until they are set.
  • Stir in cheese until melted. Remove from heat.

If your tortillas are too firm to fold, heat them up slightly in a pan on medium-low heat.

Load your tortillas up with your scrambled egg filling.  Serve with your favorite hot sauce or enjoy as is.  You can also wrap these up in foil and take them with you. They hold fairly well.

Philly Cheesesteak

Makes 2 sandwiches.

  • 4 pieces of your favorite carnivore bread (this goes well with chicken buns)
  • 12-16 ounces boneless ribeye or flank
  • 2-4 pieces of provolone
  • 2 tsp onion flakes or powder
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp butter

  1. Freeze your steak 20 minutes.
  2. Remove from freezer and slice as thin as you can.
  3. Season your meat with onion, salt and black pepper.
  4. Make your steak into 2 piles.
  5. Heat your cast iron to medium-high heat.
  6. Once your pan is hot, grease with butter.
  7. Take your 2 piles of meat and sear them in the hot buttered pan.
  8. Do not stir them in the pan, you want them to keep the shape they are in.
  9. After they have a nice sear on one side, take a spatula and carefully flip them over.
  10. Top meat piles with a slice of cheese on each stack. Cover with a lid or a piece of foil over the pan and let the cheese melt.
  11. Once the cheese is melted, take your pile of meat and stack it in between your carnivore bread.

Deli Sandwich

  • 4 pieces of your favorite carnivore bread (bacon weave, chicken bun, cloud bread)
  • 2 slices swiss cheese
  • 2 slices pepper jack, muenster or cheddar
  • 2 ounces corned beef or pastrami, sliced thin
  • 2 ounces salami, sliced thin
  • 2 ounces roast beef, sliced thin
  • Brown mustard or mayo (optional)

  1. Layer all ingredients onto your bread of choice. Feel free to switch the meat and cheese options up to your favorite deli meats and cheeses.
  2. If you want the sandwich hot, lay the meats with cheeses on top onto a parchment lined sheet pan and broil on low for about 1 minute while keeping a close eye on it. Or you can heat the meat up in a pan and top with cheese when layering the sandwiches.

Even better if you have some hot and salty beef broth to dip the hot sandwich in!

Makes 2 sandwiches.

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sammie

  • 6 sausage patties, homemade or store bought
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ Tbs cream, optional
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 slices of your favorite cheese
  • 3-6 slices of bacon, cooked (Optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Whisk eggs with cream and salt. Pour into a 8” X 8” silicone pan.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove eggs from pan and slice into 3 strips.
  4. Cook sausage accordingly.
  5. Layer sausage with cheese, folded egg slice, cooked bacon and second sausage piece.

Makes 3 sammies.

Grilled Cheese

  • Your favorite carnivore bread (Chicken buns or bacon weave crusts work best for this recipe)
  • 2-4 ounces of your favorite gooey cheese or a combination of cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, pepperjack, brie, etc.) *Please note, 4 ounces of cheese is a THICK amount of cheese!*

Making a carnivore grilled cheese is just as easy as making your “traditional” grilled cheese!

  1. Heat your pan to medium-high heat. (Medium heat if you are using 4 ounces of cheese)
  2. No butter should be needed! Especially if you’re using bacon weaves!
  3. Heat the inside part of your “bread” for about 30-45 seconds.
  4. Flip your bread over and layer your cheese and top with the other heated up piece of “bread”.
  5. Grill your sandwich until the cheese starts getting melted. Carefully flip sandwich over to melt the other half of the cheese.
  6. Remove from pan and enjoy!

Makes 1 sandwich.

Cheesy Flatbread

  • 6 ounces shredded cheddar
  • 3 whole eggs
  • ½ tsp garlic (optional)
  • ⅛ tsp baking soda

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. (Add 1 tsp garlic if you want garlic breadsticks!)
  3. You can make into one large flatbread or 2 smaller ones.
  4. For 2 smaller ones, spread half the batter onto a half sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
  5. Do not spread to the edges, let the layer be about ⅓-½ inch thick. It will spread.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes. (12-15 minutes for larger size)
  7. Let cool and cut in half or quarters and use as sandwich bread.

For breadsticks, slice into strips and grill in a buttered pan.

  • 1 scoop egg white powder (optional)

  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until spices are thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape into meatballs until all the mixture is used up.
  4. Sear meatballs in a hot cast iron pan and finish cooking in the oven for about 20 minutes.
