Natalia’s Struggle with Carbohydrates and Food Intolerances

Before she found the carnivore way of eating, Natalia says she would often cry after she ate because the carbohydrates in her meals sent her into a spiral of depression. Natalia has a histamine intolerance and many food intolerances and says she can now recognize her mood would instantly change anytime she ate carbohydrates. Natalia became very sad about her life and circumstances every time she tried to eat. She also struggled with anxiety and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)– as her food intolerances often affected her gut health.


Natalia’s Journey to Find the Right Diet

Natalia says she also struggled to keep her weight at a normal range for her height and tried almost every diet out there. She first started with a low-fat diet, which she jokes about every woman trying. Natalia then tried eating several meals daily but said she could never eat enough and always felt hungry. She even tried a vegetarian diet which she says made her very bloated. Natalia says she also tried the Whole30 diet twice and had some success losing weight, but she still felt a lot of distress in her gut.


The Benefits of the Carnivore Diet for Natalia

During this time, she was also diagnosed with inflammation of her pancreas, which her doctor tried to treat with medication. She then discovered a low-carbohydrate diet which transitioned into a 2:1/protein-to-fat ratio ketogenic diet. Natalia says she saw some improvements when she started eating a low-carb diet but still felt like her body was missing something.


Natalia then discovered the carnivore diet, a game-changer for her health. Natalia says within one week of following the carnivore way of eating, her bloating was gone, she no longer felt depressed, and she could focus better. She says, “I felt like a normal person for the first time in a long time.”


Natalia’s Carnivore Lifestyle Today

Natalia says her diet today consists of eating one meal per day. She eats beef, salt, organs, and water as they are the easiest for her body to digest. Chicken and pork are high in histamines, so Natalia avoids those types of meat, and dairy is also very hard on her digestion.


Natalia says before finding the carnivore lifestyle, she was an avid coffee-lover and drank at least two cups of coffee per day. However, she has discovered coffee is hard on her stomach, so she recently had to give it up– much to her dismay.


Natalia’s Message of Hope and Gratitude

Natalia says now that she has been following the carnivore way of eating for some time, she no longer cries after she eats. She says she also has more energy to exercise every day, and a surprising benefit to the diet has been she has developed a more womanly body configuration. Natalia says she also sleeps better as a carnivore diet follower, her skin is glowing, and her hair and nails grow very fast.


Natalia is thankful she has found what works for her body and no longer has to suffer from severe bloating and depression. She says the diet makes her feel alive, and she is grateful to the carnivore community. Natalia is also excited she has been able to share her story. She hopes to help others realize the carnivore diet works– she is living proof.
