Donna got off all prescription drugs on carnivore diet

Hi, I’m Donna. I am 71 years old and have been carnivore for 2 years.

Carnivore As An Elimination Diet

I initially used it as an elimination diet to find triggers for my psoriasis and migraines. After 4 weeks of carnivore, both psoriasis and migraines disappeared. I have continued carnivore and am no longer on prescription meds.

Getting Stronger

An added bonus is that I have become much stronger. I now:

am doing 200 pushups in less than 20 minutes;
have finally done a full pull-up;
am stronger in my yoga poses.

I am stronger at 71 than I’ve ever been…even the younger years.

Many thanks to @shawnbaker1967.

  1. Hey Donna,
    I just want to say thank you for posting such an inspirational success story!
    I also started the carnivore diet as an elimination diet but the overall positive effects will keep me on this diet now.
    I’m also a yogi and have noticed that I’m more supple generally, have you also noticed that?
    Can I just say that you look amazing, are you sure you wrote your age correctly??
    Anyway Donna, I wish you all the best for the future.
    Namaste,
    Russ

  2. Hi Russ, thanks so much for the encouragement. I had been trying for so long to do an 8 angle yoga pose. Finally did the pose after going carnivore. Can now do the pose on my non dominate side as well. That’s a win, win for me and proof that carnivore WOE makes one stronger.
    Namaste,
    Donna

    1. What medication were you on Donna? Been on carnivore diet for 8 week & 2 days. No energy yet. Hoping for it. Heart attack, stroke diabetes among others with alot of medications that I hope to come off. On blood thinners, not sure I can stop taking them.
      Regards Dorothy

  4. You look really wonderful, I can t believe that you are 71, I would have guessed no more than 39. You have gotten much prettier with your new regime…I love it. Too many men chasing you is probably your other health secret….

  5. It’s obvious from your before picture that you take great care of yourself.
    Your after picture is fantastic.
    I’ve got to get into serious yoga. I’ve heard it is very effective at strengthening the core, flexibility, and lowering stress.
    Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
