Bernardo has even been able to get some of his fellow police officers on the carnivore diet. He describes one of his co-workers who is nearing the end of his career and is getting ready to retire. Bernardo says his diet today is simple, but he does like to mix it up sometimes. He usually eats two meals daily– one around eleven in the morning and the other around seven in the evening. Bernardo eats a lot of beef, eggs, bacon, pork, and cheese. He says he likes learning other various techniques to prepare his food from other carnivore diet followers. The techniques he has learned allow him to have more variety in his diet.
Bernardo advises anyone looking to start the carnivore way of eating to “be patient and give it time.” Now that he knows how good he can feel, Bernardo has zero plans to return to eating high-carb foods. Bernardo says he doesn’t have some naysayers in his life but fires back, “how can you question results?” Bernardo has the carnivore way of eating to thank for helping him excel at his job and restore his health.
