  1. This recipe is disgusting. It comes out undercooked with the cheese pouring out. Please remove it so other people don’t waste their time and money. I’m going to try making it with two Oz per meatball, some kind of bread base and some Italian seasonings to make it more flavorful.

    1. I wouldn’t remove it but your experience is helpful. I will try with crushed pork rinds and one egg as binding agents, plus Italian seasoning as you suggest. Thanks for the ideas.

    2. Maybe…and I know this sounds crazy…cook it for longer? Maybe increase the temperature? Don’t just crap on the recipe brother, it’s cheese in meat, can’t really mess this up. But then again…here we are lol

      1. Talk about a perfect response. That was awesome!! Talk about a great way to disarm the haters! Good job and I like this recipe alot. Thanks for the help on carnivoring

  2. Sounds delicious thank you. I can’t wait to try, I’m not much of a carnivore zealot so I will add some Italian herbs to the mix.

  3. There is a similar item that I order off of the appetizers menu at Mellow Mushroom. It comes with marinara and bread crumbs, but of course depending on how strictly you follow this diet you can ask for it without. It’s a bit over priced, but atleast eating out with friends is still an option. I always top mine with A LOT of parmesan cheese.

These individual portions make an easy meal for one or more people. It can also be prepared ahead and just baked before eating.  I used thinly sliced beef because that’s what I had at home. You can use ground beef or lamb, if you prefer.  I used celery root instead of the original potatoes. 80g
