Jessie cleared up eczema, inflammation, and pains on a carnivore lifestyle

Jessie’s Health Journey

Jessie has been suffering from eczema and anxiety for most of his life. Growing up, he was told to eat his vegetables like most kids. He says he ate a lot of pasta and other high-carbohydrate foods and drank a lot of milk and Coca-Cola. At the age of fifteen, he noticed what he describes as a “knot” in his stomach every time he ate pasta but tried to ignore it. He also suffered from severe acne as a teenager.


From High-Carb to Carnivore

Once Jessie got married, he tried to do better for his health. He describes getting into protein powders and other “health” supplements and programs and watching his wife try out diet after diet. Jessie is a truck driver and spends five days a week on the road. He says he began to notice some aches and pains but attributed their source to his life on the road.


The Benefits of a Carnivore Diet

Jessie’s wife started following a ketogenic diet, and soon Jessie tagged along with her. He followed the keto diet for about nine months. Jessie then learned about the carnivore diet and decided to try it. Though he was starting to feel better following a keto diet, the carnivore diet changed his health much more dramatically.


A New Lifestyle on the Road

Jessie no longer struggles with eczema and says his anxiety is improving. Jessie also says he exercised before he started carnivore, but after three weeks of the lifestyle, he was itching to move his body more and more. He began to add more push-ups and squats to his workout regimen each week as his energy became more and more improved. Jessie also describes that his skin has been smoother since adapting to this way of life. And though he already had lost most of the hair on his head before becoming a carnivore diet follower, his hair is starting to grow back in lightly.


Carnivore Diet for the Whole Family

Jessie’s lifestyle on the road has changed, too, since he became a carnivore diet follower. He usually eats one meal daily and says, “on the carnivore diet, you don’t need to eat all the time.” He describes meal prepping on Sundays for his days on the road Monday through Friday. He uses a meat grinder to grind primarily ground beef, a handful of organs, and bacon or pork belly. He then portions meat out and eats it throughout the week while on the road. Then, when he is home on the weekends, he says he eats mostly steak, pork shoulder, and chicken wings– his favorite treat.


Jessie’s Message: “I Wish More People Would Listen”

The carnivore lifestyle has also become a family affair for Jessie. His wife is now mainly eating the carnivore way. He says she has been experimenting with some vegetables to determine which plants affect her. And though his eleven-year-old and six-year-old sons are not carnivore followers, they have also seen improvements from eating more meat. He describes a difference in their mood and focus when eating meat and ditching high-sugar foods. Even Jessie’s pets are living a carnivore lifestyle. Jessie says he feeds his cat and dog raw meat instead of the typical dry animal food. He says his cat is becoming more muscular, and his dog has exceptionally healthy teeth.


Jessie says, “I wish more people would listen.” The carnivore way of life has changed both his life and the life of his family members. Jessie is very thankful for all he has learned while becoming a carnivore eater and has no plans to return.
