itsnotwilly75 lost weight on a carnivore diet

Unhappy with how I looked and felt at age 43, I decided to dive headfirst into the carnivore diet november 1st.

I started out at 152/153 and have been slowly losing weight since I started. I initially drank milk or water but dropped the milk about half way through the third week.

After that I was either drinking tea or water but dropped the tea in favor of bulletproof coffee, which seemed to have jumpstarted my metabolism again after stagnating.

After a few days at about 134.2 lbs, I finally broke just under and have been at mid 133 lb range for the last couple days.

My light dinner last night of only beef fat seemed to have done the trick, so a late morning breakfast today consisted of mostly cooking through a handful of beef fat and tossing in a couple scrambled eggs to finish it.

I was really hoping to get down to 130 lbs by January 1st but had given up hope and will be content with dropping 20 pounds by only eating meat and animal products and cutting down carbs to nearly nothing.

What does 2019 hold? Since I’ve seen what I can do with meat alone, I look forward to seeing what else I can accomplish by throwing in more exercise and weight lifting.
