To tell you a little about myself, I’ve battled numerous health afflictions over the past 15 years, including severe gout, eczema, fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, and widespread inflammation that reared its ugly head in countless ways! My doctors wanted to throw drugs at my issues and told me to “eat less, move more” as well as “avoid meat and saturated fat.” Deep down though, I knew in my gut that they were dead wrong. Intuitively, I knew I was doing something wrong, but I also knew prescription drugs and more exercise weren’t the solution. Besides, I was always physically active and athletic. So, what was going on? To find out, I began studying nutrition and researching its effects on health about seven years ago. I had such severe gout that it would pop up every month and last anywhere from a few days to several weeks. There were points in time where I would literally drag myself across the floor in order to use the bathroom. The pain was excruciating and regularly affected multiple joints at once! But that pain I felt was no match for how I felt on the inside. I felt like a failure, and I blamed myself. I knew I was abusing my body with poor nutrition and stress, but I refused to take prescription medications. Instead, I became an ambassador of my own health and well-being. I decided to empower myself! I refused to be a victim and started working on myself from the inside out by focusing on all pillars of health, including diet, sleep, mindset, and beliefs.
Initially, I started with a paleo-style diet and naturally worked my way into keto. Eventually, I started implementing different fasting protocols, and my health was improving but I still was experiencing health issues; however, to a lesser degree. It wasn’t until I became a carnivore that I truly experienced healing. I no longer experience gout. It’s completely gone! The inflammation has subsided, 90% of my eczema has vanished, and my mental well-being has been lifted to vibrant new heights! I’ve also dropped over 30 pounds and at 42 years of age, I am stronger and more athletic than I ever was in my 20s. In addition, I’m an advocate for mindset optimization and mental hygiene. This is one of the benefits I bring to my carnivore nutritional coaching. Food addictions, cravings, disempowerment, and self-sabotage are some of the most common reasons people fail at making change. I know these mental obstacles have been some of the single-most challenging variables for me on my journey. Back in 2017, I started exploring the mind, neuroscience, breathwork, and its impact on human physiology. I became passionate about optimizing my health by improving emotional resilience, self-regulating stress, and instilling powerful new beliefs into my mindset. These practices have been transformational for me and are powerful supplements to proper nutrition (the carnivore diet). I am a certified level 2 Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner and certified HeartMath practitioner. My daily rituals consist of meditation, breathwork, EFT, and other mindset practices. I’ve found these practices to be tremendously beneficial in my journey toward creating exceptional health and wellbeing. “Health is truly the ultimate wealth” and mindset is just as important as nutrition in my opinion. The carnivore diet is a species-appropriate, species-specific diet for humans, and I look forward to helping you in your journey! However, food addictions, anxiety, stress, and limiting beliefs can completely sabotage your progress. With that being said, I bring solid tools and resources to my coaching style that will help you optimize your mindset for success and eliminate cravings and sugar addiction with science-based techniques. Carnivore truly is a lifestyle and not just a diet!

On a more personal note, I’m married to my wonderful wife Sarah of 10 years, and I am a proud father to our twin babies, Bronco and Genevieve (born May 2022), as well as our 10-year-old Chocolate Lab, Hunter Winston. I work full-time in the software industry as a subject matter expert and product specialist. I split my time between our city home in Pittsburgh and our small farm in Ohio. I am an avid outdoorsman and can regularly be found pursuing numerous outdoor adventures…hunting, fishing, hiking, photography, and farming. I also train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and love staying active! Let’s create greatness together!
