Hi! My name is Evan. I am 30 years old and am based out of Canada. I have been eating a 95%-100% Carnivore Diet for the past 2 years. The results I have experienced transformed my life from one of avolition and discontent to one filled with purpose and ambition.
Maintaining and improving health is a lifelong journey, and it can seem daunting to navigate the abundance of conflicting information we are presented with. Implementing a carnivore diet has simplified this journey for me, and I want to make it as simple as possible for you. It is my goal to help as many people as I can, and I want to hear your story and provide positive non-judgemental coaching that is easy for you to follow and adhere to. I am excited to be able to share my knowledge and experiences with clients to motivate, guide, and help them develop the foundation to improve their lives.
About Me:
I have a BA Psychology and Sociology, and a BEd in Secondary Education. I have been interested in nutrition since my youth, and have taken a number of university nutrition courses, along with studying Anthropology, which involved the study of ancestral nutrition. I try to read as many research articles and listen to as many podcasts as I can to keep up to date with the current literature/findings in the carnivore and low-carb space.
My Story:
In 2015, I started experiencing symptoms of Ankylosing Spondylitis, and in 2017 I ended up contracting mononucleosis, which caused a bout of myocarditis and acute hepatitis. This led me to gain 50lbs and exacerbate/cause a number of chronic health issues over the next 3 years. This experience left me disconcerted and despondent with my health and the healthcare system. After consulting with a carnivore physician friend, I decided to try a ketogenic, mostly carnivore diet. Within a couple of weeks I was losing weight and felt better than ever. All of my health issues either vanished or greatly lessened in severity. Since then, I have focused on learning everything I can about my health, diet, fasting, and physical performance.
I have had personal experience with:
- Ankylosing Spondylitis
- ADHD—Special interest in this topic, the focus of much of my BA
- Anxiety
- Asthma
- Depression
- Histamine Intolerance
- Insomnia
- Weight loss
