After having my second child, the weight wasn’t coming off so for the first time, I started dieting. Each weight loss attempt made me heavier, more addicted to carbs, and more obsessed with food. I ended up an overweight, emotional eater with joint pain, fatigue, and digestion issues.
I began following a ketogenic diet which helped me drop the pounds and brought back my energy. In 2017, I earned my nutrition and wellness coaching certificate and began helping people lose weight by following a keto-based approach to nutrition.
Finally, in 2021 I put an end to my joint pain, poor digestion, and carb addiction by removing keto-friendly foods like almonds, vegetables, and sugar substitutes, and following the Carnivore Diet. I feel great for the first time in a long time and now I want to help everyone, from people who think they are stuck feeling —just ok, to people with symptoms that make everyday life a challenge.
In addition to my own experiences, I’ve used the carnivore diet with clients to give them relief from things like IBS, insomnia, and prediabetes, and to achieve sustained weight loss.
